Phyllis delivering a speech in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Holocaust Memorial Day for the Jewish Community Center on April 24-25 2006. The speech took place in Shaarei Tzedeck Synagogue which also hosted a major Holocaust exhibit.

The 12 year old students pictured in the second row made a major presentation about the 1.5 million children who were murdered in the Holocaust. They have embarked upon a campaign to collect 1.5 million pennies -- one for each child. They are shown here together with their Hebrew school teacher, Lorraine Shaked.
