We Are All Passengers on the Doomed Ship SS St. Louis
Mar 26, 2024
Given the #UN vote for a #ceasefire in Gaza without the return of any #Israeli hostages; given the fact that President Biden's administration refused to veto this resolution; and given all the alarming incidents of antisemitism around the world--for example, at the airport in Manchester, UK. I see Jews everywhere as if we are on board the #SSStLouis and it is #May1939.
Cannily, Hitler said, (I'm paraphrasing): I don't want the Jews, but if you do, here are some. And he allowed 937 of our people to board a luxury liner from Hamburg, and set sail for Cuba. They were not accepted; neither did the U.S. coast guard permit the ship to dock anywhere near Miami. The ship was forced to return to Europe where these 254 Jewish passengers were murdered in the Shoah.
Robert Krakow, a retired lawyer and filmmaker, made an important film about this titled Complicit.
The vote at the UN is a clear signal to Hamas and Iran that they can keep all the Israeli hostages, continue to beat and sexually torture them--kill them as well. And that they have the wind at their back. The entire world stands with Hamas and will allow them to "flood" Israel and Jews, October 7 style, until none of us are left.
