1974. This is the rental house in Bondville, Vermont, where from 1974 to 1975, Phyllis Chesler completed Women, Money & Power, which she co-authored with Emily Jane Goodman.

1974. Phyllis Chesler converted this shed, an old garage on the property of her East Hampton pre-revolutionary cottage, into a writing studio. In 1977, when Phyllis was writing About Men, some men who lived in the home as boys came by and told Phyllis they used to slice up pigs in the building. Phyllis replied, "I'm doing the same thing."

1979. In 1979, the Upper West Side Bloomsday Book Shop held a reading of the entire book With Child, edited by Arnold Dolin. Some of those in attendance, shown here, included Barbara Chasen, Nena O'Neill, Judy Kuppersmith, Z Budapest, Ruby Rohrlich, Barbara Joans and Lily Rivlin.

1971. Gloria Steinem and Phyllis Chesler pose for the book Wonder Woman, for which Gloria wrote the introduction and Phyllis wrote The Amazon Legacy: An Interpretive Essay. While these photos were never used, Phyllis did use the fake bullet belt clip, wearing it when she left Israel in 1973.
